Care for the light

Trim the wick to approximately 5 mm before each burn. Place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from draughts. Sculptural candles may naturally drip, so always use an appropriately sized candle plate. Keep away from children, pets and flammable materials, and never leave a burning candle unattended.

Why does my candle vary in colour or finish?

Pure beeswax changes naturally with the season, hive and batch. Small shifts in colour, texture and surface markings are part of the material’s character and do not affect quality.

Are GoldenAsh candles scented?

There is no added fragrance. Pure beeswax carries its own subtle, naturally honey scent.

What are the wicks made from?

Every GoldenAsh candle uses a pure cotton wick.

How long will my candle burn?

Estimated burn times are listed on each product page. Actual times vary with wick trimming, draughts, room temperature and the way the candle is burned.

Will sculptural candles drip?

They may. Always burn sculptural candles on a heat-resistant plate large enough to catch melted wax.
